Official highlights usefulness of IGAE in public administration

Luanda, ANGOLA, January 15 - The Minister of State and Head of Staff of the President of the Republic, Frederico Cardoso, said Monday in Luanda that the General Inspectorate of State Administration (IGAE) plays a key role in introducing regulations that discipline and positively affect the attitude of civil servants and administrative agents.,

The action of this body of the State, according to the Minister, focuses on preventive and pedagogical mechanisms, establishing principles and transmitting knowledge, guidelines and good practices of public management.

The State Minister, who was speaking on behalf of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, at the opening session of the commemorative event to the 26th anniversary of IGAE, whose activity stems from a seminar on good management practices.

The official  pointed out that it must be taken into account that public administration is aimed at the pursuit of the public interest and the approximation of services to the population, which requires a permanent adjustment of the activity to the ever greater demand that the evolution of society itself imposes.
