Every year, hundreds of Canadians are killed and tens of thousands are injured in crashes involving alcohol and/or drugs. Everyone can play a role in preventing these tragedies.

• Plan ahead if you're going to be drinking or consuming drugs -- call an Uber, take a cab, take a bus, arrange a designated driver or plan to stay over; never drive impaired.
• Never accept a ride from a driver who may be impaired.
• Call 911 if you see a driver you suspect is impaired.

All across the country, MADD Canada Chapters and Community Leaders are sharing the sober driving message and honouring victims of impaired driving through the Project Red Ribbon campaign. Now in its 30^th year, Project Red Ribbon promotes safe and sober driving throughout the holiday season.
