Hélder Pitta Grós appointed new Attorney General
Luanda, ANGOLA, December 20 - The Angolan President, João Lourenço, on Tuesday appointed Hélder Fernando Pitta Grós as Attorney General of the Republic, replacing João Maria Moreira de Sousa.

Before that, the Head of State terminated the mandate of Hélder Fernando Pitta Grós, from the positions of Deputy Attorney General of the Republic for the Military Affairs and Military Prosecutor of the Armed Forces.
In another decree, the President of the Republic terminated the mandate of João Maria Moreira de Sousa, from the position of Attorney General of the Republic.
However, the Angolan Head of State sacked Luís de Assunção Pedro da Mota Liz from the post of Deputy Attorney General of the Republic and António Adriano António from the position of Deputy Attorney General of the Republic for the Military Affairs.
Following that, the statesman appointed by decree Luis de Assunção Pedro da Mota Liz to the post of Deputy Attorney General of the Republic, and Adão Adriano Antonio, for the positions of Deputy Attorney General of the Republic for the Military Affairs and Military Prosecutor of the Angolan Armed Forces.
