Visa exemption agreement comes into force

Luanda, ANGOLA, December 1 - The agreements signed between Angola and Mozambique for the exemption of visa on ordinary passports comes into force this Friday, since it was already signed by the Angolan President, João Lourenço, and was published in the State Gazette on Wednesday.,

According to a press note from the President’s Civil Office that reached ANGOP on Thursday, the deal had been concluded last November 17, in Luanda, and as from December 1 the citizens of both countries can travel with ordinary passports without restrictions with right to thirty-day stay.

 

In the same ambit, Angola and South Africa also signed on November 24 in Pretoria the same type of agreement, during a recent visit of the Angolan President to that country, which also comes into force on December 1.

  

Angola considers the visas exemption on ordinary passports a promotion to boost mobility, stimulate migratory flow as well as generate investment and tourism in both countries, besides strengthening the bilateral relations.
