The politician was speaking at the end of the ordinary meeting of the MPLA Provincial Committee in Huíla to analyze the electoral process report, the business plan for 2018 and the calendar of events.

For Fontes Pereira, this task is necessary to know the course well and to materialize the ideological principle of the MPLA, concretely democratic socialism, having a very consolidated idea about the changes taking place in the country.

"These changes are aimed at affirming the social state that seeks to improve the living conditions of the most disadvantaged people ...," said the politician, for whom the MPLA, in this new era, has to carry out actions in accordance with the leader's strategy, presented at the last congress.
