Angola: Harmonized Customs Tariff put to vote in Parliament
Luanda, ANGOLA, November 9 - The draft resolution on the composition of the specialized working committees of the parliament and the proposal authorizing the President of the Republic to regulate the updating of the Harmonized Customs Tariff will be put to the vote at the 1st and 2nd ordinary plenary sessions of the National Assembly, scheduled for 14th and 17th November.,
The information was released on Thursday by the chamber's spokeswoman, Emília Carlota Dias, at the end of the conference of the presidents of the parliamentary groups, led by the speaker of the National Assembly, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos.
She added that the 2nd ordinary plenary meeting of the 1st Legislative session of the IV Legislature of the National Assembly also reserves the discussion and vote on the resolution approving the replacement of two judges of the Constitutional Court (TC) appointed by the parliament.
Also on the agenda of the plenary on 17 November is the inauguration of two members of the governing body of the Angolan Social Communication Regulatory Body (ERCA), nominated by UNITA, as well as the filling of the vacancy of another member of this body, indicated by the MPLA.
The draft resolution approving the value of the overall budget allocation of the National Assembly for the financial year 2018 will also be voted on at the 2nd ordinary plenary session of the 1st legislative session of the 4th Legislature of the Parliament.
