Police repatriates seven Zambian citizens for illegal entry

Luena, ANGOLA, October 20 - At least seven citizens of Zambian nationality have been detained and repatriated to their country, in the last seven days, by the police authorities in the province of Moxico, for border violation.,

According to a note from the corporation handed over to Angop in Luena on Friday, the offenders were repatriated from the border guard post of Muica, Bundas municipality.

The police document indicates that fishing net and hoes were found in the possession of the deportees, who had as objective to carry out poaching and artisanal fishing.

Meanwhile, according to the note, customs and tax inspection registered 97 vehicles from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Zambia, importing 824 bags of cassava byproducts, peanuts, beans and eleven volumes of used clothing.
