WASHINGTON – U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos today released the following statement on the announcement of new members to the President's Task Force on Apprenticeship Expansion.

“Apprenticeships have the potential to offer America’s students the hands-on education needed for today’s in-demand jobs, and expanding these opportunities will prepare them for success in the 21st century economy,” said Secretary DeVos. “As a Vice Chair of the Task Force on Apprenticeship Expansion, I am excited to be part of this Administration’s efforts to strengthen workforce readiness and increase the number of postsecondary pathways available to students.
