Marlin Announces Departure of Chief Operating Officer Edward Siciliano

Mark Scardigli Promoted to Senior Vice President & Chief Sales Officer

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J., Oct. 13, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Marlin Business Services Corp. (Nasdaq:MRLN), a leading provider of credit products and services to small businesses, announced that, effective today, Edward Siciliano, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, is stepping down from his role and will be leaving the company to pursue personal interests. Mr. Siciliano’s responsibilities will transition to members of the Company’s senior leadership team and Marlin does not intend to refill the position.

Previously, Mr. Scardigli served as Senior Vice President and leader of Marlin’s indirect sales team.  In his new role, Mr. Scardigli will have responsibility for leading the Company’s overall origination activities. He will report to Jeffrey Hilzinger, Marlin’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
