Angola: Police officers honored for securing general elections

Luanda, ANGOLA, October 6 - More than ninety National Police officers were honored Friday in Luanda for their participation in securing the general elections on 23 August. ,

 

This was during a ceremony chaired by general commander of the National Police, Ambrósio de Lemos held at the Higher Institute of Police and Criminal Sciences.

 

The corporation's staff received certificates of merit for the work performed.

 

The general commander said the police worked very well, giving confidence to the security and harmony of the general election.

 

He assured that the sector will continue to ensure safety among all citizens.

 

In his turn, the head of the Central Command Post Office of the National Police, Caetano Manuel da Conceição, praised the performance of security forces and services throughout the electoral process.
