Media Alert: Kenandy Customer Named Finalist in 2017 SuperNova Awards - Voting Starts Today

REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA, USA, September 18, 2017 / -- Merrow Sewing Machine Company, a customer of Kenandy, a cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution built natively on the Salesforce platform, has been named as a finalist in the seventh annual Constellation SuperNova Awards. The awards program recognizes leaders and teams for their innovative application of disruptive technology in business. Merrow Sewing Machine Company, the largest manufacturer of industrial overclock sewing machines in the world, was chosen as a leading initiative in the Technology Optimization category.

The 2017 SuperNova Award judges, comprised of technology thought leaders and journalists, selected finalists that demonstrated success in implementing leading-edge business models and emerging technologies for their organizations. Finalists achieved remarkable results, including competitive advantage, cost savings, and quantifiable improvements in agility.

Since implementation of the Kenandy platform three years ago, Merrow has started three new business lines and doubled its top line revenue. Led by CEO Charlie Merrow, the company was able to execute the growth with 25 percent of revenue coming from new business lines, with close to the same employee count.

The efficiency and visibility gains achieved with Kenandy helped Merrow to transform itself into a start-up incubator, growing several new businesses in addition to running its core textile machine business.

Public voting for the SuperNova Awards will take place online from Sept. 18 - Oct. 2, 2017. The winners will be announced at the SuperNova Awards Gala on Oct. 26 in Half Moon Bay, California, during Constellation’s Connected Enterprise event.
