On August 30, 2017, Assistant Foreign Minister Chen Xiaodong met with the cadre study group of political party coalition of Sao Tome and Principe, which was visiting China at the invitation of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Both sides exchanged views on bilateral relations, China-Africa cooperation and other topics of common concern.
