Official visit of the Foreign Minister of Federal Republic of Somalia to India (31 July - 04 August 2017)
Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mr. Yusuf-Garaad Omar will pay his first official visit to India from 31 July - 04 August 2017 at the invitation of the External Affairs Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj. He will be accompanied by a senior-level official delegation.
During the upcoming visit, the two sides will discuss the entire gamut of bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest. The Agreement for Transfer of Sentenced Persons will also be signed between India and Somalia during the visit. In the second leg of the visit, Somali Foreign Minister will travel to Mumbai on 02 August 2017 and Hyderabad on 03 August 2017.
