New Permanent Representative of Burkina Faso presents credentials

The new Permanent Representative of Burkina Faso to the United Nations (Vienna), Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Dieudonné Kere, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Yury Fedotov.

During his career Mr. Kere has served in various capacities, among them:

Ambassador, Deputy Permanent Representative to the European Union, Deputy Head of Mission to the European Atomic Energy Community, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. in Brussels (2015-2016); Minister Counsellor at the Embassy in Brussels and Chargé d’ Affaires a.i. since 2015 (2014-2015); Director of International Cooperation at the National Assembly (2006-2013); Administrative Secretary for the African region of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie (PAF) (2009-2013); Administrative Secretary of the National Inter-parliamentary Group of Burkina Faso to the Inter-parliamentary Union (IPU) (2006-2013); Administrative Secretary of the Burkinabe Section of the PAF (2006-2013); Chargé d’ Affaires a.i., Embassy in Brussels (2000-2001); Second Counsellor, Embassy in Brussels (1999-2005); Head of Department Europe, America, Oceania, Foreign Affairs Ministry (1996-1999); First Secretary, Embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark (1990-1994).

He holds Master degrees from the University of Grenoble - Pierre Mendès, France and the Catholic University of Mons, Belgium, as well as a Diploma from the European Institute of Public Affairs and Lobbying, Belgium and a Postgraduate Diploma from the National School of Administration and Magistracy, Burkina Faso.

Mr. Kere speaks Mooré, French and English.

Mr. Kere is married and has four children.
