USFCR Client Apollo Technologies Group, LLC Receives Navy Contract

Contract Is First For Maryland Business

Laurel, Maryland, June 09, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- US Federal Contractor Registration – the world’s largest third-party government registration firm – is pleased to announce that Verified Vendor Apollo Technologies Group, LLC received its first government contract since completing its System for Award Management (SAM) Registration.

The contract, with the U.S. Department of the Navy, calls for Apollo Technologies Group to remove, manufacture, and replace custom benches and tables in the mess decks of six yard-patrol boats at the U.S. Naval Academy.

“These yard-patrol crafts,” said Apollo Technologies Group Vice President Jeff McQueen, “are used to train future U.S. Naval and Marine officers at the Academy, and our craftsmanship has been a direct reflection on the Navy, the Academy, and its readiness.”

The contract with the U.S. Department of the Navy – the first Apollo Technologies Group has received – is valued at $98,495.

In business for slightly more than one year, Apollo Technologies Group is a Laurel, Maryland-based service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) that provides a range of services, including IT support, infrastructure, cyber security, staff augmentation, construction, and remodeling.

“We offer solutions that are far more cost-effective and efficient than that of larger companies,” said McQueen. “Our agility and expertise is what sets us apart from others, and what proves to be a huge benefit for the government and our private sector clients.”

McQueen links his company’s success to his high-quality team and their experience – as well as to his decision to work closely with US Federal Contractor Registration.

McQueen described his experience working with US Federal Contractor Registration as “a massive luxury that directly resulted in winning our first contact.”

“They’ve been a tremendous help to get a new company like us off the ground,” McQueen added.

Eric Knellinger, US Federal Contractor Registration president and owner, believes this Navy contract is but the first of many for the fairly new company.

“The government wants to help small businesses succeed, even those that haven’t been around very long. I’ve found that the government cares more about the quality of your products and services, and your experience, more than it does how many years you’ve been open,” said Knellinger. “By offering high-quality and necessary services, Apollo Technologies has positioned itself as an attractive option to the government and to its private-sector clients.”

US Federal Contractor Registration helps its clients complete and maintain a System for Award Management (SAM) Registration, access contact information for federal buyers in their industries, develop award- and contract-winning marketing techniques and plans, and also uniquely position themselves for success.
