Contract Is First For Maryland Business

Laurel, Maryland, June 09, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- US Federal Contractor Registration – the world’s largest third-party government registration firm – is pleased to announce that Verified Vendor Apollo Technologies Group, LLC received its first government contract since completing its System for Award Management (SAM) Registration.

The contract, with the U.S. Department of the Navy, calls for Apollo Technologies Group to remove, manufacture, and replace custom benches and tables in the mess decks of six yard-patrol boats at the U.S. Naval Academy.

“These yard-patrol crafts,” said Apollo Technologies Group Vice President Jeff McQueen, “are used to train future U.S. Naval and Marine officers at the Academy, and our craftsmanship has been a direct reflection on the Navy, the Academy, and its readiness.”

The contract with the U.S. Department of the Navy – the first Apollo Technologies Group has received – is valued at $98,495.

In business for slightly more than one year, Apollo Technologies Group is a Laurel, Maryland-based service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) that provides a range of services, including IT support, infrastructure, cyber security, staff augmentation, construction, and remodeling.
