NEKOOSA, Wis., May 09, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On May 4th, 2017, Nekoosa extended its Synaps® XM portfolio to include a 12 mil product to the already expansive line of polyester based synthetic paper engineered for high heat, dry toner digital printing.

Nekoosa now offers a complete range of thicknesses and sizes in the Synaps ® portfolio including 5, 8, 10, 12, and 14 mil and sheets ranging from 8.5” X 11” to 14.33” X 20.5”.

The technology behind Synaps® allows for toner fusing which creates a natural resistant surface to water, chemicals and grease. The polyester base of the substrate provides tear strength and dimensional stability which eliminates frayed edges and de-lamination issues.

The Synaps® 12 mil is best suited for, but not limited to: menus, place mats, table tents, coasters, recipe cards; maps and information directories; ID cards, medical and record charts; POP signage, collateral, merchandising.
