About the Author:
David Pliner is 77 years old and has embarked upon a new career, and this is his first book. Writing has been a lifelong ambition, but this is the first opportunity he had to write as he has retired to become a full-time caregiver.

He studied American and British literature and poetry in college. He is currently working on his first novel, which should be published in the fall of 2016. Many of the characters in Hogan’s Choice will appear in this novel in more depth.

Writing is difficult, and he hopes you enjoy the stories as much as he enjoyed writing them. He's particularly influenced by John Mortimer, Hemingway's Nick Adams stories, T. S. Eliot, Percy Shelly and James T. Farrell.
