Local Restaurant Chain Joins Geek Expos, Gives the Gift of Food to Children's Hospital

Chick-fil-A Eastside Market Caters Food for Children in the Hospital on Christmas Eve

/EINPresswire.com/ -- TULSA, OK--(Marketwired - December 08, 2016) - Arthur Greeno, Chick-fil-A Owner/Operator and Chair of this year's Tulsa Christmas Parade, is going to bring the parade to the children at Saint Francis Children's Hospital. At 9 a.m. Saturday, December 10th Geek Expos' superheroes will be visiting the kids and their families, bringing joy and brightening spirits this holiday season. Chick-fil-A Eastside Market will be accompanying them, donating lunch for the kids, families, and staff at Saint Francis Children's Hospital to enjoy. Along with food and superheroes, Chick-fil-A will also be bringing some of their well-known friends, the Chick-fil-A cow, Decibel.

In an annual tradition to give back to the community, Greeno brings a nearly century long institution to these children and their families. The Tulsa Christmas Parade, first started in 1926, has been celebrating the holiday spirit in Tulsa for ninety years.

"It is an honor to partner with Geek Expos to bring some fun and joy to these children. When we learned that this group was in preparation for a New Year's Event in Dallas, and it involved superheroes, and they wanted to join our parade, it just made sense," says Greeno. "It's just another way for us to team up so that we can touch lives by creating great moments."

The Christmas parade theme this year is Christmas Cheer of yesteryear, and starts 6pm Saturday night in downtown Tulsa.

Chick-fil-A is a company known for their positive focus on community. Greeno continues to advance the cause this holiday season by bringing a special part of the Tulsa Christmas Parade to the kids at Saint Francis Children's Hospital.
