VA Seeks SDVOSB to Provide Dialysis Supplies in Detroit

/EINPresswire.com/ -- DETROIT, MI--(Marketwired - December 07, 2016) - The Department of Veterans Affairs John D. Dingell VA Medical in Detroit released on Wednesday, December 7 a solicitation for contractors to provide dialysis supplies in 2017, with options to provide the same supplies in 2018 and 2019 calendar years.

Interested contractors must be able to provide the following items, which must be FDA-approved for use with Fresenius Hemodialysis machines:

  • 400 cases annually of Fresenius Kit, Hemodialysis, Pre-pump Inf, Combiset Bloodlines 03-2622-3 or Equal
  • 500 cases annually of Fresenius Filter, Hemodialysis, Dialyzer Hi Flux, Polysulfone, Optiflux 180 DNR, Ster. 0500318E or Equal
  • 400 cases annually of Fresenius Filter, Hemodialysis, Dialyzer Hi Flux, Polysulfone, Optiflux 250 NR, Ster. 0500325E or Equal

The VA anticipates offering a fixed price Indefinite-Quantity, Indefinite-Delivery contract to the contractor who can provide the required dialysis supplies at the best price. The VA also intends to take into account non-price factors, but these factors will be less important than price-related factors.

This procurement will be conducted using Part 13.5 of the FAR. NAICS Code is 334510, size standard is 1,500 employees, and the VA intends to award the contract to a service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB).
