CALGARY, AB--(Marketwired - December 02, 2016) - The Werklund School of Education, along with the Education Students Association (ESA), will present a public celebration to bring together diverse communities to experience contributions from students and community members focused on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action.

The afternoon will provide opportunities for reflection and conversation with a goal of supporting the relationship-building central to the reconciliation process. The afternoon program on December 3 features speakers and discussion, a digital showcase of pre-service teacher learning, and "New Blood," an arts production by Strathmore High School students.

Participants and organizers are available for interviews before the event (2:00pm to 2:30pm). Opportunities for photography of the speakers and performance will be available from 2:30-3:30pm.
