Kratos Awarded $18 Million High Performance Unmanned Aerial Target Drone System Contract Award

SAN DIEGO, Nov. 16, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider announced today that its subsidiary, Composite Engineering, Inc. (CEi), a business unit of Kratos Unmanned Systems Division (USD) has received a $17.75 million contract award from a new International customer.  Under the new contract award, CEi will provide this new customer with full operational capability for the BQM-167i high performance unmanned aerial target drone system for two separate sites, simultaneously.  This award includes delivery of multiple BQM-167i unmanned aerial target drone aircraft, support and command and control equipment, spares and related ancillary equipment to initially support 30 flights across the customer’s two separate sites.  Kratos Unmanned Systems Division is a leading provider of high performance unmanned aerial target drone systems used for testing and exercising weapon systems for the U.S. military and its allies, and is a leading provider of high performance unmanned combat aerial systems to be used for force multiplication and amplification.
