CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Nov 15, 2016) - JLL (NYSE: JLL) today announced the appointment of Matthew Gonterman as Chief Information Officer (CIO), Americas, with responsibility for driving growth by providing innovative, integrated technology solutions for the company and its clients in the Americas markets.

Gonterman will report to Greg O'Brien, CEO, Americas, and David Johnson, Global CIO, and will partner with Eddy Wagoner, Global CIO, Corporate Solutions. He will work closely with the Americas Executive Committee (AEC) and be a member of JLL's Global Technology Group. The appointment is effective November 21.

Gonterman joins JLL from SIRVA Inc., a leading global moving and relocation services provider, where he was Senior Vice President and CIO. Prior to that, he held several information management and IT leadership positions during more than 10 years with General Electric.

Gonterman, who will be based in Chicago, has a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Purdue University. He also completed several management and Six Sigma training programs while at General Electric.
