NAV CANADA gives notice to redeem $100 Million of its 5.304% notes due April 17, 2019

/EINPresswire.com/ -- OTTAWA, ON--(Marketwired - November 01, 2016) - NAV CANADA today has given notice that it will redeem on a pro rata basis, $100,000,000 of its outstanding $350,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 5.304% general obligation notes, Series MTN 2009-1 due April 17, 2019 (CUSIP 62895ZAJ9) (the "Notes").

The Notes will be redeemed on December 16, 2016. The redemption price, calculated according to the terms of the issue, will be $1,095.18 per $1,000 of principal amount of the Notes, plus accrued and unpaid interest up to but excluding the redemption date of $8.7189041 per $1,000 of principal amount of the Notes. The redemption will be financed out of proceeds from the maturity of restructured ABCP investments along with general corporate funds of NAV CANADA.
