LAKEWOOD, Colo., Sept. 27, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Colorado Association Services, an Associa company, takes an effective approach to introducing its community managers to potential vendors with a speed-dating style meet-and-greet event. On Thursday, August 25, more than 20 vendors met with 27 community managers to pitch their services and raise funds for Associa Cares.

Associa Cares dollars are contributed by employees and fundraising events. It relies on volunteers from national and local committees to help identify people in both Associa and non-Associa managed communities affected by tragedies.

"The speed-dating concept gave each vendor about seven minutes with groupings of two managers to discuss everything from landscaping and roofing to neighborhood security, plumbing, painting and more," said Colorado Association Services Business Development Manager Nichole Stevenson. "Vendors look forward to the annual event, which raised more than $14,000 for a good cause!"
