According to the complaint, during the class period, defendants made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (1) insufficiencies existed in Misonix’s internal controls over financial reporting; and (2) consequently, Defendants’ statements about Misonix’s business, operations and prospects were materially false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times.

On this news, Misonix stock fell over 18%, to close at $5.00 per share on September 15, 2016.
