It has been only 2 years since the $200 million mark was achieved in August, 2014. All this giving has been into NCF Giving Funds (donor-advised funds) that provide givers the ability to support charities that align with their priorities.

NCF Tampa Bay’s Vice President, David Parsley, said, “We are committed to serving families and business owners as their personal foundation and offer advanced gift planning and gifting services that enable givers to give generously from assets beyond cash, namely appreciated stock, real estate and business interests”.

Chris Peifer, Chairman of the Board of NCF Tampa Bay (NCFTB), recently reflected on the growth. "In 2014, NCFTB established a vision of facilitating $1 billion of giving by the year 2030, and we are well on our way to achieving that goal. Since our inception in 2004, NCFTB has coordinated more than $300 million in gifts, with $53 million of that total given in 2016 alone. Outgoing grants to charities this year are on pace to be more than $30 million, up from $24 million in 2015. We are proud to be making such a positive impact on our community."
