This important anniversary offers our two countries a chance to reflect on the strength of our friendship over the past quarter century. Macedonia has made great strides in its development since independence, and the United States is proud to have supported your country every step of the way. Our history of cooperation in the areas of security, trade, good governance, and fostering people-to-people ties underscores the breadth of our relationship.
As we look to the future, the United States will continue to support Macedonia’s ongoing effort to build an inclusive, prosperous and democratic society that will allow all of Macedonia’s people to flourish.
