DESOTO, TEXAS, UNITED STATES, August 31, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- DESOTO, Texas – Author R. Jay Berry crafts a poignant, thoughtful and reflective read in her dreamy, romantic book, “Forever Love.”

Based on a true story, “Forever Love” sheds lights on real and true love that has the power to overshadow all forces that work against it.

“My inspiration for writing “Forever Love” was wholly based on witnessing the love between my parents. They have been married for over 60 years and still smile at each other when the other one walks in the room. I always knew true love should be documented but it was not until I was asked to write a love story that this story was penned in a short period of time,” shares Berry, when asked about the inspiration behind her compellingly romantic book.

“Readers who have read the book will first remember their first true love and the impact it had or still has on their lives. It makes them feel and act in certain ways that cannot be explained. Readers can identify with the different experiences the couple in the book goes through,” states Stacy Baker, Acquisitions Editor for Tate Publishing.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

A retired educator for 30 years of service from the Dallas Independent School District, Berry was also the Executive Director of the Academic Services Department. She is the author of Sunday Rose trilogy which depicts the account of the self-imposed life struggles of her grandmother encountered throughout her life. All four of her books carry the themes of faith, family and friendship, and are all historical fiction based on real occasions.

Berry wanted to highlight her grandmother's story and the struggles she experienced throughout her life based on the decisions she made as a young woman. She understood that the lessons her grandmother failed to learn even with the trials she constantly went through would be life lessons for others. Telling her story inspired her to begin her writing career.

Married to Bernard, the author has one son, Stephen, a daughter-in-law Jewel, and a German Shepherd named Strawberry Sunday.
