Company Prepares for Accelerated Growth as Creating Engaging Mobile Experiences Becomes Imperative for Enterprises

/EINPresswire.com/ -- SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - August 04, 2016) - Swrve, a leader in mobile engagement, today announced that mobile and cloud communications industry veteran, Trevor Healy, has joined its Board of Directors. Healy is currently the CEO of SansaArt and his past roles include CEO of Amobee, a leader in mobile advertising and Jajah, a VOIP provider, Chief Innovation Officer for Telefonica and executive chairman for Nexmo, a cloud communications company. In his new capacity on Swrve's Board of Directors, Healy will be responsible for advising the company on international growth.

"The tidal wave of mobile has pushed the business world into hyperdrive," emphasizes Christopher Dean, CEO of Swrve. "Enterprises need to meet consumers where consumers spend their time, and solutions like Swrve enable them to do so at key mobile moments. Trevor's track record for guiding not one, but three companies in the space to international success will make him an invaluable resource for us as demand mounts and we continue to scale."

Healy's appointment comes just as Swrve bypasses 44 percent customer growth in the past year, powering two billion mobile SDKs and 271 billion events a month. Gartner predicts that by 2017 50 percent of digital commerce will come through mobile, poising the mobile marketing industry for yet further growth.

"Swrve is exciting because it's addressing a need that every company now has in a way that no one else is," Healy said. "Being able to deliver dynamic mobile experiences to customers in real-time -- in seconds, not minutes or hours-- is a game-changer for many businesses -- a unique value proposition that's enabled the company to grow quickly. In my new role, I'll be able to draw on my experience working in the industry in Silicon Valley and abroad to advise on operations."

In addition to the previously listed leadership roles, Healy has served as president of Sansa Security and general manager at both PayPal Inc. and VeriSign, where he spearheaded the digital commerce initiative. He founded CelNX, which was acquired by VeriSign. He's also an advisor to Onavo (Acquired by Facebook), Cotendo (Acquired by Akamai), and Kontera (Acquired by Singtel). Healy has been involved in six successful acquisitions and the IPO of Tintech Inc.
