/EINPresswire.com/ -- "At Istation, our mission is to empower learning and help every student feel like a superhero," said Richard Collins, Istation Chairman and CEO. "We are honored to continue our partnership with Kansas and look forward to supporting the educators who devote themselves to improving student literacy."
Istation has contracted with the Fort Hays State University College of Education to provide a variety of research and data analysis, including an examination of the effects of the Istation Reading program on those students in districts and schools who choose to participate.
Istation is an adaptive, computer-delivered program that is both interactive and fun. The comprehensive library of support materials makes every minute of teaching and learning more effective. Easy-to-use components also work in partnership with teachers to provide every student with the individualized instruction he or she needs for continual achievement. Teachers have the ability to assign individualized lessons and homework.
Educators and parents can access online reports that follow student progress and provide links to supplemental lessons. Istation's research-based program supports intervention, development and enrichment, making it appropriate for all learners.
The Istation Reading curriculum is correlated to the Kansas College and Career Ready Standards for English Language Arts and Literacy for kindergarten through 8th grade.
Istation Reading has been reviewed and endorsed by the Council of Administrators of Special Education, the National Center on Response to Intervention and the Florida Center for Reading Research.
More than a dozen studies and reviews conducted over the last decade prove Istation's learning programs deliver results. Research also shows that students who consistently use Istation experience greater growth in their reading ability than students who don't.
