ARA has hired Mary Lou Beaulieu and Holly Galinger to work as senior consultants to clients of the firm.

Beginning in 2017, MACRA will mandate participation in some form of payment system that links provider reimbursement rates to quality and cost control; for most physician practices that will be the merit-based incentive payment system (MIPS).

Yates also believes most physician groups can't afford or won't be able to find dedicated employees with the needed expertise in time to make a strong showing under MIPS in 2017, which will grade the performance of all providers on a curve, creating financial winners - and losers - under the new system. Mary Lou Beaulieu, CHC, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is a quality improvement and compliance expert with over 20 years of experience developing quality, compliance and risk management programs in both hospitals and private radiology practices. Her extensive work in radiology peer review has allowed her to develop unique insights into the best methods to measure, analyze and improve the quality of radiologist interpretations. Before joining ARA, she was Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Quality and Risk Management for Radisphere National Radiology Group. Prior to that, she served as Chief Compliance and Risk Officer and Director of Human Resources at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans, Vermont.
Holly Galinger is a dynamic healthcare operations professional with more than eighteen years of experience managing all aspects of medical imaging operations. Her competency as a general manager allows her to seamlessly integrate the organization's clinical practices with its revenue cycle strategy, and to implement operating plans that drive organizational effectiveness and patient experience to the highest possible level.
