Cook started life in a broken home whose father deserted the family when he was six. In 1970, he joined the Army and got out in 1973. At the age of about 24, he met Jesus Christ but never fully committed or turned his life over to God until 20 years later and has been studying the Bible the history of the church and whatever else he has been inspired to research and write about. His first experience with a Muslim happened during the late 70's. Jihadies were killing themselves and as many Israelite as they could every day in Israel.
