Artist Recruit launches Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for creation and production of Death Trap, a graphic novel written by a veteran for veterans.

EMPORIA, VA, UNITED STATES, July 21, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Artist Recruit has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund an action-adventure war story created by a veteran for the veteran community. The graphic novel follows the story of a marine named Death Trap who returns home after years of service. Angered by the corruption and attitude of an uncaring and selfish society, the veteran starts his own war against those for whom he fought.

July 21, 2016 – A new Kickstarter campaign has been started by Artist Recruit to raise funds for a graphic novel project. Designed for the veteran community by a veteran, the story explores the internal struggles that marines experience upon returning home, through the character Death Trap. Death Trap’s mission is to reset the city of Detroit, Michigan, and destroy a society that has become degenerate and corrupt.

The campaign has set a goal of raising at least $17,500 to cover the costs for the letterer of the graphic novel; the shipping and printing of 2,000 books; the rewards and shipping of rewards to those who make a pledge; and the living expenses of Death Trap’s creator, Daniel Donnelly, while he completes the project.

Pledge choices range from $10 to $500 or more, and come with rewards that include the following:
• Becoming a major character in Death Trap
• A 16”x20” illustration of Death Trap
• Making an appearance in flashback scenes as a member of Death Trap’s squad
• Making an appearance in flashback scenes as a fallen comrade
• Customized Death Trap mask
• Appearing in the story as a victim or background character
