On Friday, July 15, 2016, the President signed into law:
H.R. 636, the “FAA Extension, Safety, and Security Act of 2016,” which extends authorization for Federal Aviation Administration programs and related revenue authorities through September 30, 2017;
H.R. 3766, the “Foreign Aid Transparency and Accountability Act of 2016,” which requires the President to establish guidelines for the establishment of measurable goals, performance metrics, and monitoring and evaluation plans for specified U.S. foreign assistance programs;
H.R. 4372, which designates the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 15 Rochester Street, Bergen, New York, as the Barry G. Miller Post Office;
H.R. 4960, which designates the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 525 N Broadway in Aurora, Illinois, as the Kenneth M. Christy Post Office Building; and
S. 2845, the “Venezuela Defense of Human Rights and Civil Society Extension Act of 2016,” which extends the sanctions imposed on persons responsible for violations of human rights in Venezuela through December 2019.
