/EINPresswire.com/ -- (NYSE: CLX) The Clorox Company of Canada Ltd. is voluntarily recalling its Liquid Plumr® Slow Flow Fighter (formerly sold as Foaming Pipe Snake) and Liquid Plumr® Pro Strength Urgent Clear Clog Remover products produced on or before March 21, 2016.

The company has identified some instances of child-resistant closures not working properly on these products. There have been no reported injuries to date, and the company believes that most of these products have already been used. However, if consumers do have an affected product, they are encouraged to contact the call centre listed below for instructions and a full refund.

What products are affected?

Liquid Plumr Slow Flow Fighter (formerly Foaming Pipe Snake) and Liquid Plumr Pro Strength Urgent Clear products produced on or before March 21, 2016. These products have a batch/lot number of JS16081 or lower. This code is printed in a small box at the bottom of the back label.

No other Liquid Plumr products are affected by this recall. Products produced after March 21, 2016 (with a batch/lot number of JS16082 or higher) utilize a different child-resistant closure and are safe to use as directed.

What should consumers do?

Consumers should keep the product away from children and immediately contact the Liquid Plumr call centre at 855-490-0705 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday. They will provide more information and instructions to receive a full refund if they have an impacted product.

Each bottle stands about 9 inches tall and holds 502 ml of liquid. Each bottle bears the Liquid Plumr brand logo.

The products were sold across multiple retail channels and online. Retailers include, but are not limited to Walmart, Loblaws, Sobeys, Metro, Canadian Tire, Shoppers Drug Mart, London Drugs, Federated Co-op, Overwaitea Food Group, Safeway, Buy Low, Longo's, Home Hardware, Home Depot, Lowes and Rona.
