HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C., July 10, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The South Carolina Chiropractic Association (SCCA) has chosen Dr. Brad Fraum as its 2016 District Director of the Year at the SCCA 70th Annual Convention. The SCCA is a professional association of chiropractors throughout the state who seek to promote and protect chiropractic through expanding the role of chiropractic, public awareness, legislative involvement, and member education. Dr. Fraum was chosen for this award based on his efforts throughout District One in growth, continuity and community involvement. 

According to Dr. Brad Fraum of Fraum Chiropractic Life Center, this award is particularly distinctive because it comes from his peers in the South Carolinian chiropractic community. "Gaining the trust and respect of my peers makes me feel honored," stated Dr. Fraum.  "Throughout the chiropractic community, we hold ourselves to very high professional standards. For them to believe that I have contributed in an extraordinary way to chiropractic is truly an honor for me."

Throughout his career, Dr. Fraum has received several additional accolades. He has received awards from Ambassador Life Chiropractic College and the National Honor Society in Psychology, Psi Chi. Dr. Fraum was named post graduate lecturer by Life Dynamic Essentials and District Director of the Year in May 2002 by the SCCA. He was also given the Clinical Excellence Distinction award by Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Dr. Fraum received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 1981. Since that time he has practiced chiropractic in Arizona and South Carolina.  In everything, Dr. Fraum puts his patients first. “It is truly an honor to be recognized by my peers," said Dr. Fraum.
