Proceeds to Benefit Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation

/EINPresswire.com/ -- TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 06/30/16 -- Last Thursday, June 23rd, Front Street Capital Charitable Foundation hosted their 6th annual Summer Solstice party, benefiting Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation in support of Joe's Team. Over 650 professionals from Toronto's financial industry came out in their summer whites to raise money for the great cause. Held at the Liberty Grand at Exhibition Place, guests were treated to Gatsby-themed decor and entertainment, giving the evening the feel of a 1920s gala. The weather cooperated, allowing the guests to enjoy the Liberty Grand's outdoor courtyard and the sounds of the Roaring Twenties jazz trio while sipping champagne under the stars.

The party raised more than $300,000, exceeding expectations and setting a new record for the annual event, with Front Street's Summer Solstice events now having raised more than $1.4 million since their first party in 2011. The funds raised will help continue the important head and neck cancer research performed by the internationally recognized team at Princess Margaret Hospital.
