FSAI Advises Consumers Not to Eat Belmont Organic Venison
Friday, 12 December 2014
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) today advises consumers not to eat any Belmont Organic Venison products which they may have purchased, as these products were cut, minced and wrapped in an unapproved establishment. This unapproved establishment was unsuitable and unhygienic for the purposes of food production.
The FSAI states that all Belmont Organic Venison products are implicated, including those sold at the National Crafts and Design Fair in the RDS (3-7 December 2014).
The FSAI operates an Advice Line on 1890 33 66 77 from 9.00am-5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
