Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Launches New Website to Serve Growing Latino Youth Population

Hyundai Motor America Grant Supports Next Generation of Latino Leaders

/EINPresswire.com/ -- WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - June 08, 2016) - The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) today announces its new website at www.chci.org, an integral part of its virtual leadership platform that provides an interface for America's Latino youth who are seeking educational and leadership development opportunities. The new platform, with a completely new look and feel, is fully responsive and mobile compatible. The site was made possible thanks to the generous support of a multi-year grant from Hyundai Motor America and was designed by Plus Three, a majority Hispanic-owned firm based in Miami.

Together with www.CHCINextOpp.net, the organization's searchable online directory of scholarships, internships, and fellowships, CHCI directly connects thousands of Latino youth to life-changing leadership opportunities in Washington, D.C. and around the country.

"CHCI is very proud of its newest addition to our virtual leadership platform, and the ability to better reach our target audience with the critical information and leadership opportunities it is looking for," said Cristina Antelo, CHCI Interim President & CEO. "The site also tells a compelling story of Latino leadership through our powerful alumni testimonials, which are important to help young Latinos see themselves as leaders and identify where education and leadership development can take them. We are thankful to Hyundai Motor America for investing in this new resource that will further our mission to develop the next generation of Latino leaders."

"Hyundai is proud to partner with CHCI to create a virtual leadership platform for the 21st century that will benefit Latino youth by helping them gain access to the empowering opportunities available through the organization," said Zafar Brooks, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility and Diversity & Inclusion at Hyundai Motor America. "Ultimately, this new and improved website promotes diversity and inclusion by being more accessible and user friendly to all who are seeking educational opportunities and programs to develop their leadership skills."
