Sales and Channel Veteran Kosuke Tajima to Further Develop Company's Presence and Customer Portfolio in Country

Tajima-san will oversee the company's continued growth in Japan and work closely with its partners, which include CTC, NetOne Systems and Uniadex. Japan is a world leader in SDN deployments and a structurally attractive market for Big Switch, in large part due to its systems integration partners. Japan currently represents 18% of the Big Switch customer pipeline.

Big Switch will be at Interop Tokyo June 8-10, alongside its tech partner, Dell, to discuss Open Networking and the companies joint solutions. Big Switch and Dell will be at booth # 4J09.

Tajima-san is an industry veteran who has previously held senior sales and channel roles at 6WIND, Ericsson, Business Objects, Cisco and Nortel. Under Tajima-san's leadership, Big Switch is planning increased investment in the region in response to growing demand for Big Switch's products, Big Monitoring Fabric and Big Cloud Fabric. Since opening its KK subsidiary in Otemachi in late 2014, the company has been serving Japanese large enterprises and mobile operators who were early adopters of SDN technologies and hyperscale network designs.
