ROGERS, ARK., UNITED STATES, June 3, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- ROGERS, Ark. - Author James Stroud influences readers as he shares a story of history, philosophy, and Christian apologetics in his religious book, “Mere Christian Apologetics: Apologetics and the Bible in Simple Terms.”

A story of insight, broad-mindedness, and teaching, “Mere Christian Apologetics” is a non-fictional book about the Christian concept of God, providing the most coherent answer to who God is, knowing the overview of the Bible, and understanding Christianity in a more plausible way than ever.

“I spent many years saying I was a Christian, but knowing little to nothing about what this even meant. This was made worse when I first began collegiate studies at the University of Arkansas in 1996 when I was challenged by an atheist on my beliefs; sadly I had few answers to give her. At that point, I began a long journey through two bachelor degrees and then a Masters as well as travels across the globe at which point I began to see more clearly than ever why Christian theism is the most credible worldview. This book is a simplified version of my MA thesis in simplified terms so that you may better know why Christianity is true and how to share that fact with others,” shares Stroud on the inspiration behind the book.

“In January, the book won ‘Best Religious Non-Fiction Award’ from the London Book Festival. This book is to follow and to make more confidence in Christianity,” states Richard Tate, co-owner and Acquisitions Editor of Tate Publishing.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Stroud, who holds a master’s degree in ancient and classical history and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy of religion, is a member of the Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Association of Ancient Historians, the Society for Historical Archaeology, and the Philosophical Research Society. Stroud has recently returned to the Midwest from the New York City area, where he and his wife lived for the last two years. The author, who is based in Arkansas, enjoys traveling and organizing debates at the university level on the subject of academic freedom.
