BROCKTON, MASS., UNITED STATES, June 3, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- BROCKTON, Mass. – Author R.G. Gokool amazes young readers as she crafts a story of fun and eagerness in her children’s book, “Miss Crumcake’s Amazing Divining Rod.”

A story of fun and intense desire to know things, “Miss Crumcake’s Amazing Divining” is an excitement-filled children’s book about redhead twins who sneak out after their bedtime and peek from behind azalea bushes to see something unbelievably amazing.

“Years ago, I took a Geology class at the local community college. After learning about the different layers of the earth, I became inspired and began thinking, what if dinosaur bones could come to life? From there, I started writing ‘Miss Crumcake's Amazing Divining Rod.’ Miss Crumcake had been in the making for years and remained unfinished while I was busy taking care of my family. When my family told me how much they liked her story, I decided to have Miss Crumcake published,” shares Gokool, when asked about the inspiration behind her book.

“The story is something you will have to read to discover. Follow the curiosity of the twins to investigate the sounds coming from Miss Crumcake's yard, where they end up developing a wonderful relationship with her,” states Taylor Michaud, Acquisitions Editor for Tate Publishing.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Gokool was earning her degree where one of her topics of study was Children's Literature. She went on to earn a certificate with The Institute of Children's Literature from Connecticut and worked and volunteered in her local elementary school. Since this is a work of fiction, she feels her imagination, inspirations, life experiences and schooling are all she needs to write this genre.

When she is not writing, Gokool enjoys traveling with her family. She has found inspiration in the many different islands and countries they have visited. She enjoys watching movies and animated films – she especially enjoys Disney animation such as Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White.
