Sims was inspired to write her biographical history to prove to readers that when faced with difficulties in life if they keep their faith, hope, and trust in God, He will make everything work out for their good. She is a single mom with four grown up children, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She prays daily that her life will be a great inspiration and influence to not only her family but all those she becomes connected with.
