Author John Keifman to discuss potential of seeing his novel, “Awake,” adapted to film.
EVERETT, WASH., UNITED STATES, May 31, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- EVERETT, Wash. — Author John Keifman is set to meet with a pro screenwriter to discuss the potential of seeing his novel, “Awake,” adapted to film.“Awake” is a fiction fantasy novel of a man facing a moral dilemma. Born with the blood of a vampire slayer coursing through his veins, Ty Livingston had never seen a vampire before. Yet there is an enemy that Ty would come across who is far worse and deadlier – himself –
when he would indeed become awake.
Keifman is thrilled about the prospect of seeing “Awake” on the big screen and shares his vision for the movie, stating that, “It’s a fantastic action film, really exciting with twists and turns around each corner. I also want it to reach out and grab the viewers, as it does to the readers. I want people to delve deeper into the recesses of their own minds and think, ‘what if?’”
John’s infatuation with the metaphysical and the mind resulted to the 14 years of writing his novel. The author took to interviewing people who claimed to be vampires from all over the USA and throughout Europe. Through his research, John could not deny the uncanny truths of those claims. Some of those secrets are in this book, while others he is not allowed to discuss with the outside world. “Through interviews and various discoveries, I feel the book had to be written,” John shares.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
John now lives in Washington State with the love of his life and his dog. His passion for writing started at a very young age, he is always writing new and exciting stories. Aside from his interest with the metaphysical, John hobbies also include reading, playing the newest video games, and nature. He loves to see other people's imagination come to life in a different format of art as well. It has also inspired three more books that he is working on right now.
