BonJourney CANADA Re-United - North America's Top Tribute Festival and Event Band
They will do small clubs in Ontario for 6-8 months and then back to Festivals in 2017
There is a lot of exciting things to talk about as we launch the BonJourney CANADA brand back into the mainstream Festival and Event circuit.
First off, we've got a new member - Jason Bozec. Jason's guitar style has similarities to Neil Schon of Journey - his speed and finesse with the guitar are greatly appreciated as we are astounded with his ability to mimic Neil - and it progressively gets more refined each and every time we play together...
Jason performed this past weekend for a jam packed crowd at a very small club here in Thunder Bay - more of a paid rehearsal than a grand performance at Madison Square Gardens! It was, however - a very fine performance by Mr. Bozec in front of a jam-packed crowd at the Dragon's Den Club in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Not having the luxury of rehearsal on any of the BonJovi songs, Bozec still ripped the notes out in fine fashion - one after another, this time mimicking Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi. Bozec had done his homework to be sure - fully capable and well able to impress the crowd at each turn. No one even knew that he had never played with the band to that point, and once people were told, Bozec received the appropriate congratulatory comments which were indeed, well deserved.

Drummer Kevin Palmer (Famous Photographer in Mining / Oil and Gas) returns to BonJourney CANADA after a 3 year absence - "It felt very good to be sitting back in the chair again" quipped Palmer when querried about his return to Canada's Premier Tribute to both BonJovi and Journey. "After Friday night, I woke up and couldn't open my hands properly, felt like I'd been ran over by a truck - sore back from moving equipment and had a tough time standing up straight - it couldn't have been more perfect - just like the old days!"
Palmer and Bozec joined phenominal keyboardist Roman Picco and legendary vocalist Al Langlade in this weekend's performance at the Dragon's Den. Club owner Mike Komar - former Manager of Bands such as Teenage Head, Sherriff, Hellfield and other stellar Canadian acts of yester-year commented, "BonJourney is exactly what we needed in this time when business is hard to get, money is tight - and the economy here in Thunder Bay is not exactly booming. This band has the drawing power many times greater than most bands; and we're really seeing it here tonight, as I've added more staff, higher security and increased on-site inventories to accommodate the swelling crowds - this is just awesome!"

At press time, the band had completed their move out and we were able to get a brief word in with a guest in the crowd - small business owner of Rudnicki Industrial (inventor of the Overhauler) - an innovative machine shop located on the outskirts of Thunder Bay: "This band has an incredible appeal surrounding it - they have the entertainment value to be sure, but it's more than that - these are really nice guys with great personalities mixed with proficiencies at their instruments which goes far beyond the norm. Sitting here, knowing that this was Jason Bozec's first gig with the band - and knowing too that he had not previously even rehearsed the BonJovi set - well, my god - I am completely blown away by this performance. I brought my wife with me, and at 50-something - we're not ever out this late, ever! She and I stayed to the second last song of the last set - and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves...I'm not sure exactly how much money we spent, but when I got home I did notice that my pockets were not overly flowing with cash! And, I have to tell you - it was money well spent."
