Imagination to showcase latest vision technologies at Embedded Vision Summit 2016
LONDON, April 26, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Imagination Technologies (IMG.L) announces its participation at the Embedded Vision Summit 2016. During the Summit, Imagination will highlight its PowerVR GPU compute and vision solutions that are optimized for a wide range of computer vision applications including advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), surveillance, and augmented reality.

| for implementation, trade-offs, and performance analysis (May 3, 12:30-1:00 pm). | |
| During the Technology Showcase, Imagination will show various vision processing | |
| demonstrations on its PowerVR Rogue GPUs including: | |
| -- Object detection and categorization using CNNs | |
| -- Face detection using the PowerVR Imaging Framework for Android with OpenCL™ | |
| -- Image filtering including edge and corner detection with OpenVX™ | |
| Imagination will also feature demonstrations of its PowerVR Raptor imaging | |
| processor with class-leading tuning and calibration capabilities. | |
| Numerous Imagination partners will also participate in the Technology Showcase, | |
| including Luxoft who will leverage a PowerVR based platform to demonstrate the | |
| performance benefits of running OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision) | |
| applications on a GPU. | |
