/EINPresswire.com/ --  1832 Asset Management L.P., manager of Dynamic Funds, today announced that Eric Benner has joined the firm as Vice President & Portfolio Manager. Mr. Benner will contribute his global equity expertise to Dynamic's Equity Income Team, led by Oscar Belaiche.

Mr. Benner has nearly 15 years of investment management experience and most recently was Managing Director & Co-Head of Equities at a large institutional pension manager. He has been responsible for and has led a team of investment professionals in the construction, research, and management of several global equity portfolios. 

Mr. Benner holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with Joint Honours in Economics and Finance from McGill University, a Master of Financial Economics from the Rotman School of Management & Department of Economics at the University of Toronto, and is a CFA charterholder.
