DWFritz Inaugurates New Building
A Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Is Held for the New 33,000 Square Foot Production & Operations Center
/EINPresswire.com/ -- WILSONVILLE, OR--(Marketwired - April 20, 2016) - DWFritz Automation Inc., a leading provider of high-precision automation solutions for advanced manufacturing, today announced that it marked the grand opening of its new 33,000 square foot manufacturing and operations center in Wilsonville with a ribbon cutting ceremony. "Building 2" is located next door to the company's main office building and is dedicated to volume production of subassemblies and final assemblies, from initial build through qualification testing. This brings DWFritz's Wilsonville headquarters to approximately 100,000 square feet overall.
Mike Fritz, president and CEO of DWFritz Automation, commented: "We are delighted to celebrate this major milestone as we continue to grow exponentially. Because we operate in a high-mix, low-volume business environment, our customers often ask us for quick design changes and delivery of additional systems in a short timeframe. In order to accommodate their requests, we leased Building 2 and set up a LEAN manufacturing process flow. We are confident that these steps will ensure that we continue to best respond to our clients' needs."
Building 2 is in the heart of Wilsonville's Technology Corridor near The Oregon Institute of Technology and several other high-technology giants. Earlier this year, DWFritz welcomed a new Vice President of Operations to optimize its manufacturing process, supply chain, logistics, and business execution. DWFritz is committed to LEAN manufacturing in order to minimize waste and reduce its production footprint.
