Shigeru Ban and PortLiving will bring their vision, to one of the last available locations to be developed in Vancouver's exclusive Coal Harbour neighbourhood. This building will set a new standard for luxury urban development, sustainability, and engineering innovation. This marks the first time Shigeru Ban Architects has undertaken a project in Canada.

This new residential development in Coal Harbour will be the architect's tallest structure designed to-date.

In 2014, Ban was named the 37th recipient of the Pritzker Architecture Prize, the most prestigious award in modern architecture. Shigeru Ban was cited for his innovative use of materials and his dedication to global humanitarian efforts. His disaster relief projects demonstrate the same inventive and sustainable design approach used for his many famed projects that include the Centré Pompidou-Metz and Cité Musicale in France, the Aspen Art Museum, the Nomadic Museum and MoMA Paper Arch in Manhattan and the new headquarters for Swatch and Omega in Switzerland.
