Author/filmmaker Nadia Dean guest speaker at the Revolutionary War Roundtable of the Backcountry

CHEROKEE , NORTH CAROLINA , U.S.A., April 4, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Revolutionary War Roundtable of the Backcountry will host author/filmmaker Nadia Dean April 18, 2016 at Wofford College in the Montgomery room.

Author turned filmmaker Nadia Dean will screen her 37-minute docudrama CAMERON, which is based on her book A DEMAND OF BLOOD: THE CHEROKEE WAR OF 1776. Dean says, “Most Americans are unaware of the rich Revolutionary War history in the south, or that the Cherokees engaged in their own war for freedom. This film presents a loyalist’s experience in the American Revolution— a perspective rarely seen in any drama.”
